Story
A fair deal does not need a winner and a loser.
In Egypt people buy their homes on five- and ten-year instalment plans. Then life changes: a job, an illness, a currency. Someone who can no longer pay finds one bad option in front of them — hand the unit back, pay a penalty calculated on the full unit price, and wait years for the rest of their own money.
At the same time somebody else is looking for that exact unit and finds it at the developer at today’s price — far above what was signed two years ago. One side needs out, the other wants in, and both lose because nothing connects them cleanly.
What fills that gap today is a broker adding an "overprice" on top. The seller receives less than they should, the buyer pays more, and the difference goes to someone in the middle whose only contribution was knowing both of them.
AqarTrust takes that difference out of the equation. The seller takes exactly what they paid. The buyer enters at the old contract price. We take one published percentage from the buyer, only when the transfer completes. That is the whole model.
None of it works without trust, and trust is not freely available in this market. So we check the documents ourselves, we state the source of every figure, and we stay with both sides until signing instead of disappearing after the listing.
Rules we bound ourselves to
Before asking you to trust us.
Every figure carries a source
A market price says where it came from: the owner’s estimate, the developer’s list, or our own index. And we never show a comparison without saying how many units it used.
Free for the seller
The person who needs to get out of a contract is not the one who should pay. Our fee is on the buyer, and only on completion.
Zero overprice, enforced
Not a promise on an about page. On a contract transfer the asking price cannot exceed what was paid, and the server refuses it. Resale listings are priced by their owners and labelled as resale.
We say when we do not know
A thin sample is labelled thin. A missing document means the unit publishes without a verified badge. Silence beats an invented number.
No brokers
A listing comes from the owner, with a declaration. Anything found to be from an intermediary is removed.
We will tell you to stay put
If the arithmetic says keeping your contract is your best move, we say so — even though it means we earn nothing.
These come from our own database and update live. When we start publishing statistics on completed transactions they will appear here with the same clarity — and until then we will not print numbers we cannot evidence.
